Basketball Recap: Greenville Comes Up Short

Greenville lost against Hudson back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Greenville Spartans took a 73-67 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hudson Bluehawks.

Leading Hudson to victory were Keith Robinson and Gannon Logue. Robinson posted 21 points, while Logue had 19 points. Robinson's evening made it 18 games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Juwan Morrison, who put up ten points.

Greenville's defeat dropped their record down to 14-3. As for Hudson, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

Greenville and Hudson should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New York Rankings. Greenville will challenge Germantown at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 603 places (246 vs. 849). Meanwhile, Hudson (ranked 198th) will meet Cairo-Durham (ranked 828th) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
