Basketball Recap: San Angelo Central Takes a Loss

After flying high against Abilene Christian last Tuesday, San Angelo Central came back down to earth. The San Angelo Central Bobcats were beaten by the Ellison Eagles 99-71 on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

San Angelo Central's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-5. As for Ellison, they pushed their record up to 16-5 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the San Angelo Central Bobcats duke it out with the Frenship Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on January 10th. As for Ellison, they will square off against University at 7:00 p.m. on January 10th.
