Volleyball Game Preview: Locke Saints vs. Dymally Challengers

The Locke Saints will face off against the Dymally Challengers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Locke came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Harbor Teacher, falling 3-0. The Saints haven't had much luck with the Monarchs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

While Locke was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Harbor Teacher's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-18, 25-23.

Dymally not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 15, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They blew past Crenshaw 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-13, 25-19.

Locke's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Dymally, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.

Everything went Locke's way against Dymally when the teams last played on April 2nd, as Locke made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Saints repeat their success, or do the Challengers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
