Volleyball Recap: Providence Classical Comes Up Short

After flying high against Mountain View Christian Academy on Monday, Providence Classical came back down to earth. The Paladins lost 3-0 to the Haywood Christian Academy Red Wolves on Wednesday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Paladins haven't been shut out since back in September.

While Providence Classical ultimately came up short, they really made Haywood Christian Academy work, particularly in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20, 29-27.

Providence Classical's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Haywood Christian Academy, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-10.

Providence Classical does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Haywood Christian Academy, they will take on Lee Park Prep at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
