Softball Recap: Foothill Cougars vs. Enterprise Hornets
Foothill won against University Prep last Thursday with 12 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Cougars' pitcher stepped up to hand the Enterprise Hornets a 12-0 shutout. Considering the Cougars have won five matchups by more than eight runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Rylee Vakulich made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Malia Webb was a standout: she got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run and three runs. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Taylor Bates was another key player, going 2-for-4 with four RBI and two runs.
