Soccer Recap: Calvert Comes Up Short

If Calvert was riding high fresh off their 6-1 takedown of Patuxent on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cavaliers fell just short of the La Plata Warriors by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Calvert haven't had much luck with La Plata recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Calvert now has a losing record of 5-6-2. As for La Plata, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-9-1.

As of now, neither Calvert nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
