Volleyball Recap: Lee's Summit North's Loss Ends 11-Game Winning Streak at Home

Lee's Summit North dropped to 23-6 on Tuesday, ending the team's 11-match streak of wins at home. They fell just short of the Raymore-Peculiar Panthers by a score of 3-2. The Broncos were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Piper Bahr paced Lee's Summit North's offense, picking up 25 kills. Bahr got some help from Leighton Benne and her 48 assists. Kenzie Huhman controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

As for Raymore-Peculiar, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted since September 25th.

Lexi Jett was nothing short of spectacular: she had 16 digs and three aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in October of 2024.

Looking ahead, Lee's Summit North is taking a road trip to square off against Lee's Summit at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Raymore-Peculiar, they will welcome Lee's Summit West at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
