Recap: Bothell Cougars vs. North Creek Jaguars
There's no place like home for the Bothell Cougars, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Friday. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 60-46 victory over North Creek on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Bothell also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Several Jaguars players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Seirat Bhullar, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds. Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Mikah Hammerquist, who scored 18 points.
Bothell is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for North Creek, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bothell will be home for the holidays to greet Juanita at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Juanita will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 108th, while Bothell is ranked 35th). North Creek will be home for the holidays to greet Renton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
