Volleyball Recap: Mahpiya Luta Takes a Loss

Mahpiya Luta managed to slip by Lead-Deadwood the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Crusaders lost 3-0 to the Golddiggers on Thursday. The Crusaders' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-16, 25-22.

Mahpiya Luta's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Lead-Deadwood, the victory snapped their losing streak at seven matches and leaves them with a 5-12 record.

Mahpiya Luta wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Douglas on the 27th. Hopefully Lead-Deadwood paid attention to the Crusaders' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Crusaders at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
