Soccer Game Preview: Lincoln vs. Westmont

The Lincoln Lions are taking a road trip to face off against the Westmont Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Lincoln is headed into Friday's following a draw, the team's first since December 4. Neither they nor Leigh could gain the upper hand on Wednesday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Westmont brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They came out on top against Christopher by a score of 4-2 on Wednesday. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 219th, while the Cougars are ranked 518th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lincoln's draw gives them a new season record of 2-3-3. As for Westmont, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
