Soccer Game Preview: Stephenson vs. Cedar Grove

The Stephenson Jaguars will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Cedar Grove Saints at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Stephenson is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They lost 5-0 to North Clayton on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, after soaring to nine goals the game before, Cedar Grove was a bit more limited in their matchup last Tuesday. They came up short against Stockbridge, falling 8-0.

Stephenson beat Cedar Grove 2-0 when the teams last played back in March of 2025. Do the Jaguars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Saints turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
