Baseball Game Preview: Peninsula Panthers vs. El Segundo Eagles

For the second straight game, Peninsula will face off against El Segundo. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Peninsula has given up an average of 6.9 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Peninsula is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Wednesday. They came up short against El Segundo, falling 12-3.

El Segundo has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Peninsula, their loss dropped their record down to 6-15.
