Softball Recap: Kenton Comes Up Short

Kenton was the 13-9 winner over Waynesfield-Goshen when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats lost 9-2 to the Tigers on Thursday.

Kenton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alexis Ratliff, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Kenton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Waynesfield-Goshen, their record is now 4-1.

Kenton has already played their next contest (against Marion Harding), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Waynesfield-Goshen, they will face off against Riverdale at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
