White Cloud had lost six straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 0-5 to make it seven. They fell just short of the Chippewa Hills Warriors by a score of 15-14. On the bright side, the 14- run performance marked the Indians' highest-scoring game to date.

As for Chippewa Hills, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games.

For Chippewa Hills' part, they let Mallory Nelson and Erin Riesenberg run wild. Nelson went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs, while Riesenberg went a perfect 5-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Riesenberg is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Hunter Howard was another key player, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
