Softball Recap: Howards Grove Comes Up Short

Howards Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Random Lake Rams, falling 12-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-1 on Tuesday.

Howards Grove's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Random Lake, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Howards Grove has already played their next game (against Hilbert), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Random Lake, they will take on Mishicot at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Indians will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
