After a string of four wins, Elgin's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Powder Valley Badgers. If the Huskies were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Badgers when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Elgin's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-5. As for Powder Valley, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.
