TAPPS Six-Man Division II District 4 (6 Man) recap Nov. 7, 2012

Lifegate Christian extended the longest winning streak in TAPPS Six-Man Division II District 4 (6 Man) this week by beating Heritage Christian, 65-26. This was the team's ninth consecutive win.

Lifegate Christian led the league in scoring this week after putting up 65 points on the Eagles.

Thanks to the talents of Tyler Smith and Dante Johnson Town East Christian has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Smith leads the league in passing with 400 yards, while Johnson has rushed for 958 yards this season. Hill Country Christian's Kyle Robbins leads the league in receiving yards with 298 on 15 catches.

Johnson of the the Eagles is only 42 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when John Rabon's team takes on Castle Hills First Baptist. The Falcons are currently in first, while the Eagles are in fourth.

There should be lots of points scored when Town East Christian and Hill Country Christian face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Robert Davis' team comes in having scored 367 this season, while Chris George's team has scored 326. The Eagles scored 54 points last week as they topped River City Believers Academy.
