Basketball Recap: Paton-Churdan Takes a Loss

Paton-Churdan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Ethan Rustlers, falling 74-13. While losing is never fun, the Rockets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 336th in Iowa, while the Rustlers are ranked 24th in South Dakota).

Paton-Churdan's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Ethan, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-3.

Paton-Churdan has already played their next game (against Exira-EHK), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Ethan has already played their next matchup, a 74-13 victory against James Valley Christian on the 3rd.
