Softball Recap: Unionville-Sebewaing Takes Down Brown City in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, Unionville-Sebewaing rose to the challenge on Saturday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Brown City Green Devils a 3-0 shutout. The win continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Green Devils: they've now won four in a row.

Not much got past Olivia Green, who gave up just a hit and racked up 11 Ks to keep Brown City off the board. Green has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Macy Prime was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

The victory got Unionville-Sebewaing back to even at 17-17. As for Brown City, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.

Unionville-Sebewaing has already played their next game, a 14-0 win against Ubly on the 7th. Brown City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
