Softball Recap: Rockbridge County Takes a Loss

Rockbridge County fell victim to East Rockingham and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 6-0 to the Eagles. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Rockbridge County now has a losing record of 2-3. As for East Rockingham, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Rockbridge County will take on Harrisonburg at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats are facing the Blue Streaks at the right time seeing as the Blue Streaks are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for East Rockingham, they will face off against Spotswood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
