Recap: Universal Academy vs. BigTyme Prep Academy Bears
On Saturday, things could have been worse for Universal Academy, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 58-43 loss to BigTyme Prep Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Universal Academy has scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead BigTyme Prep Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Noah Dowling, who scored 11 points along with three steals and two blocks. Dowling hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Mayen Ayuel, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.
Universal Academy has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season. As for BigTyme Prep Academy, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-10.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing R.W. Goines Stem Academy the next time they take the court. Universal Academy will host R.W. Goines Stem Academy on Tuesday, while BigTyme Prep Academy will head out to face them at 3:00 p.m. on February 9th.
