Volleyball Recap: Roger Bacon Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Roger Bacon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lakota West Firebirds. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Firebirds apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Roger Bacon took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 11-25, 23-25, 25-18, 15-9.

Roger Bacon's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Lakota West, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-5.

Looking ahead, Roger Bacon will be playing in front of their home fans against Summit Country Day at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lakota West, they are taking a road trip to square off against Princeton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
