Soccer Game Preview: Memphis vs. Austin Catholic

The Memphis Yellowjackets will head out on the road to face off against the Austin Catholic Crusaders at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Memphis' defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on Landmark Academy with a sharp 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Austin Catholic was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor Southfield Christian could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Memphis' victory bumped their record up to 5-10-3. Austin Catholic's draw gives them a new season record of 6-8-1.

Memphis couldn't quite get it done against Austin Catholic when the teams last played back in August as they fell 6-4. Can the Yellowjackets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
