Gulf Breeze lost to Fort Walton Beach back in April of 2025, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Dolphins had just enough and edged out the Vikings 3-2. That's two games straight that the Dolphins have won by just one run.

Jessica Jagar was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Jagar was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February of 2025.

Jagar wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Jaelynn Re, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run.

Gulf Breeze has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run this season. As for Fort Walton Beach, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Gulf Breeze will host Destin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fort Walton Beach, they will take on Gulf Shores at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
