Volleyball Recap: High Point Christian Academy Comes Up Short at Home Against First Baptist Christian

High Point Christian Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 2-0 to the First Baptist Christian Sabres on Saturday.

While High Point Christian Academy ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21.

The victory (which was First Baptist Christian's fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Coming up, High Point Christian Academy will head out to square off against Reimer Road Baptist Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for First Baptist Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Our Lady of the Elms at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
