Baseball Recap: Delmar Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Delmar can now relate to. They fell just short of the Tower Hill Hillers by a score of 5-3 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Wildcats have suffered since April 11th.

Delmar now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Tower Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Delmar does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tower Hill, they will face off against Caravel Academy on Thursday. The Buccaneers' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Hillers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
