Spencerville Adventist Academy snaps four-game streak of wins at home

After a string of three wins, the Spencerville Adventist Academy Hornets's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 35-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of Smith Jewish Day School. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Spencerville Adventist Academy of the 45-35 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.
Spencerville Adventist Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Thara Pillai, who scored seven points.
Spencerville Adventist Academy's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6. As for Smith Jewish Day School, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
Spencerville Adventist Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Model Secondary School for the Deaf at 4:15 p.m. on February 6th. Hopefully Model Secondary School for the Deaf focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 41 last Thursday. Smith Jewish Day School does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
