Basketball Recap: Tekoa Academy Takes a Loss

Tekoa Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They had to suffer through a 79-24 loss at the hands of the Harmony Science Academy Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knight this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 72-42 back in January.

Kethen Randle was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 20 boards for Harmony Science Academy. The matchup was Randle's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Kaden Sparrow was another key player, going 9 for 19 en route to 18 points and four steals.

Tekoa Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Harmony Science Academy, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Tekoa Academy will square off against Bob Hope at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bob Hope will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Tekoa Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Harmony Science Academy, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Harmony Science Academy Tigers take on the Cristo Rey Jesuit Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Harmony Science Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.9 points per game this season.
