Volleyball Recap: Western Alamance Extends Winning Streak to Five

Western Alamance entered their tilt with Williams on Thursday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Western Alamance was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-7, 25-13.

Western Alamance's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Paityn Kehoe, who had nine digs and four assists. That's the most assists Kehoe has posted since back in August. Briles Overton also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Western Alamance was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in five consecutive contests.

Western Alamance's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Williams, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-6.
