Baseball Recap: Lynbrook Takes a Loss

Lynbrook was the 10-6 winner over Monta Vista when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Lynbrook fell 9-4 to Monta Vista on Tuesday. The Vikings just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

William Tai was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Monesh Ponduri also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Lynbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Monta Vista, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Lynbrook wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 16-1 win against MacDonald on the 20th. As for Monta Vista, they have also already played their next match, a 10-8 victory against Hill on the 24th.
