Softball Preview: Berkshire Badgers vs. Grand Valley Mustangs        
        
		
            
 Berkshire has been on the road for four straight, but  on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Grand Valley Mustangs at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Berkshire is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8  runs per game  this season.
 Berkshire is hoping to deliver their fans another blowout  on Thursday, just like they did against Kirtland (and have done all season long). Everything went Berkshire's way against Kirtland on Tuesday as Berkshire made off with  a  15-4 win.
  Whitney Davis was a major factor no matter where she played. She  tossed five innings while giving up just one earned  (and three unearned) runs off   four  hits. Davis was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing three bases while going 2-for-3. She is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen two or more in the last three games she's  played.
 In other batting news,  Kate Miller was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI.  Jenna Hornak was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing three bases while going 1-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Grand Valley fell victim to Crestwood and their airtight pitching crew  on Tuesday. They suffered a  rough 15-0 defeat at the hands of the Red Devils. Grand Valley has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Berkshire's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Grand Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
 Berkshire took their  win against Grand Valley  when the teams last played  on April 9th by a conclusive  20-9. Will Berkshire repeat their success,  or does  Grand Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
