Softball Recap: Jefferson County North Finds Home Field Redemption Against Sunrise Christian Academy

There's no place like home for Jefferson County North, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Sunrise Christian Academy Buffaloes on Monday. The Chargers not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 29, 2024.

Emilee Subelka was incredible, scoring four runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucy Noll, who went 1-for-2 with four RBI and one double.

Jefferson County North always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher in four consecutive contests.

Jefferson County North's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6.

They will have a chance to go back-to-back against Sunrise Christian Academy: the pair will be back at it again later today.
