Baseball Recap: Christ Church Episcopal Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Christ Church Episcopal had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 15-4 to the Chesnee Eagles. The loss continues a trend for the Cavaliers in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.

Christ Church Episcopal saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Phillips, who went 3-for-4 with one RBI. Blake Foral was another, scoring a run and stealing two bases.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Christ Church Episcopal will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on J.L. Mann at 5:00 p.m. on February 24th. As for Chesnee, they are taking a road trip to take on Spartanburg at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
