Baseball Recap: Mosley Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Mosley posted their closest win since April 30, 2024 on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Riverdale Warriors 7-6. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Dolphins as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Xavier Demro was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was CJ Harris, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Demro wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Mosley lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Mosley's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Riverdale, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.

Mosley has already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Houston on the 14th. As for Riverdale, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 9-0 win against Maclay on the 14th.
