Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Harrison walked away with it. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Glen Ridge Ridgers on Monday. The win was nothing new for the Blue Tide as they're now sitting on eight straight.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Harrison was: they took both sets by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-10.

Jonathan Petrillo paced Harrison's offense, picking up nine kills. Petrillo got some help from Jeremy Rivera and his 18 assists. Rivera also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Yamil Espinoza, racking up two apiece.

Harrison's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 27-2. As for Glen Ridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-8 record this season.

Harrison has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Weehawken on the 4th. Glen Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
