Soccer Recap: Hardeeville Comes Up Short

Hardeeville and Bluffton combined for 17 shots on goal on Tuesday, which explains the impressive six total goals scored. The Canes came up short against the Bobcats, falling 5-1. While losing is never fun, Hardeeville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 152nd, while Bluffton are ranked 50th).

Hardeeville's goal came courtesy of Efrain Tinoco, who's now up to five this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Hardeeville and nudges their season record down to 7-10-1. As for Bluffton, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Hardeeville has already played their next contest, a 12-2 win against Denmark-Olar on the 29th. As for Bluffton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 4-0 loss against Gatlinburg-Pittman on the 24th.
