Baseball Recap: Johnson Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Johnson was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Bernards on Saturday. The Crusaders blew past the Mountaineers 10-3. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Crusaders considering their one-run performance the game before.

Johnson's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-3. As for Bernards, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Johnson will challenge Montclair at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Mounties will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Crusaders surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bernards, they will head out to square off against Summit at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
