Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lighthouse Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kolby Matthews, who went 6 for 11 to rack up 13 points and seven boards. Matthews is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Lucas Haymer, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten rebounds.

Lighthouse Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in eight consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Franklin Road Christian walked away with it. They had just enough and edged the Colts out 50-47. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Minutemen have posted since December 21, 2024.

Lighthouse Christian is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.1 points over those games. As for Franklin Road Christian, they pushed their record up to 22-13 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Lighthouse Christian took a serious blow against Franklin Road Christian when the teams last played back in January of 2023, falling 75-15. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Lighthouse Christian was down 50-9.
