Volleyball Recap: Artesia Takes a Loss

Artesia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Whitney Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Artesia's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Whitney, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-12.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Artesia is set to take on their familiar foe Pioneer at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Whitney will challenge rival Oxford Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
