Lorain proved they can win big on Monday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Bedford Bearcats. The victory continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Bearcats: they've now won four in a row.

Lorain was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-13, 23-25, 25-17, 15-12.

The win got Lorain back to even at 2-2. As for Bedford, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lorain will host Maple Heights at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Bedford, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Brush at 12:00 p.m. on September 6.
