Baseball Game Preview: Chartiers Valley Colts vs. Moon Area Tigers

For the second straight game, Chartiers Valley will face off against Moon Area. The Colts will be playing at home against the Tigers at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Monday, Chartiers Valley didn't have quite enough to beat Moon Area and fell 6-5.

Chartiers Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Michael Switala, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Colton Prosperi was another, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Chartiers Valley dropped their record down to 4-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only one runs. As for Moon Area, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.
