Baseball Recap: Somerset Tech Takes a Loss

Somerset Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 11-3 to the South Hunterdon Eagles.

Somerset Tech saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Russomanno, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs. The Jaguars are 6-2 when Russomanno posts two or more runs, but 3-6 otherwise.

Somerset Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for South Hunterdon, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-8.

Coming up, Somerset Tech will face off against Warren County Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for South Hunterdon, they will square off against Hackettstown at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
