Soccer Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson fell victim to Englewood and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They came up short against the Pirates, falling 6-0. Jefferson have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Englewood, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1-2.

Looking ahead, Jefferson will be playing in front of their home fans against Middle Park at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Englewood, they will head out on the road to take on Sheridan at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Englewood are facing Sheridan at the right time seeing as Sheridan are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
