Basketball Recap: Emerson Takes a Loss

Emerson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 65-46 bruising from the Prescott Curley Wolves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pirates of the 74-39 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2018.

Emerson's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Prescott, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Emerson has already played their next match, a 66-39 victory against Gurdon on the 28th. As for Prescott, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-57 defeat against Fordyce on the 28th.
