Marriotts Ridge entered their tilt with Long Reach on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Lightning by a score of 6-3. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Marriotts Ridge also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.
Liv Ober made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). Ober was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, Gianna Peluso was incredible, going 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Mackenzie Tasch was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
