Norfolk Collegiate triumphant thanks to a strong effort from Rashaad Williams

Recap: Norfolk Collegiate Mighty Oaks vs. Maury Commodores
On Tuesday, the Norfolk Collegiate Mighty Oaks faced the Maury Commodores in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Norfolk Collegiate took down Maury 59-45. The win was just business as usual for Norfolk Collegiate, who after four games remain undefeated this season.
Rashaad Williams was his usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with 8 assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Norfolk Collegiate's points. Another player making a difference was Brennan Chatman, who scored 8 points along with 11 rebounds and 6 assists.
Norfolk Collegiate's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Maury, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norfolk Collegiate's road trip will continue as they head out to face Norcom at 7:00 p.m. on December 7th. As for Maury, they will take on Indian River at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
