Volleyball Recap: James Buchanan Comes Up Short

James Buchanan lost against Greencastle-Antrim on September 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Rockets lost 3-0 to the Blue Devils. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

James Buchanan took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 29-27.

Among those leading the charge was Kaitlyn Alvey, who had five digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six matches.

James Buchanan now has a losing record of 5-6-1. As for Greencastle-Antrim, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-1-3.

Coming up, James Buchanan will welcome Shalom Christian Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greencastle-Antrim, they are taking a road trip to challenge Bermudian Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
