Volleyball Game Preview: South County Stallions vs. Robinson Rams

South County has gone a perfect 4-0 against Robinson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Stallions will welcome the Rams at 6:30 p.m. The timing is sure in South County's favor as the team sits on 13 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Robinson has been banged up by seven consecutive losses on the road.

On Thursday, South County came up short against Lake Braddock and fell 3-1.

While South County had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 16-25, 25-21, 25-20.

The losing side was boosted by Devin Ko, who had 12 digs.

Meanwhile, Robinson also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Woodson by a score of 3-1.

Robinson actually scored more points across those four sets (89-87), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 12-25, 25-23, 25-20.

Robinson's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for South County, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-5.

South County was able to grind out a solid win over Robinson in their previous matchup on October 9th, winning 3-1. Do the Stallions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
