Salem hasn't had much luck against Landstown recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Sundevils will host the Eagles at 5:00 p.m.

Salem fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Cape Henry Collegiate on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They lost 17-8 to the Dolphins.

Evie Miani made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-5 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Twiford, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, Landstown hadn't done well against Tallwood recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Eagles walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Lions.
