Volleyball Recap: Itzel Albarran and Hadley Wagaman Secure Win for Bronson

Bronson barely beat Springport the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Vikings blew past the Spartans 3-0 on Tuesday. The Vikings not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16th (when they won 3-0).

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Bronson took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-8, 25-13.

Leading Bronson to victory were Hadley Wagaman and Itzel Albarran. Wagaman had six aces and four digs, while Albarran had five digs and two aces. That's the most digs Albarran has posted over her last six matches.

Bronson pushed their record up to 14-9-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Springport, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7-1.

Bronson has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Athens on the 4th. As for Springport, they are taking a road trip to square off against Concord at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
